About TEKRISE
TEKRISE is an AI tennis swing analysis app for iOS and Android. You record or upload a short video of a swing; the app tracks 12 body joints on the device (plus the racquet and ball on Android), then returns written AI coaching that names what to fix first, a drill plan and progress tracking over time.

Frequently asked
Will TEKRISE replace my tennis coach?
No, and it is not meant to. TEKRISE measures your swing and shows you what happened. That is maybe a tenth of what a good coach does — it cannot read your opponent, run live drills, feed balls, fix your grip mid-swing, or keep you motivated. Think of it as the slow-motion replay and the measuring tape: the eye, not the coach.
I do not have a coach. Is TEKRISE still for me?
Yes. If you practise alone, TEKRISE gives you the technical feedback that is otherwise very hard to get without someone watching, so you work on the right thing next instead of grooving the same mistake. That is the single biggest problem with solo practice.
I am a coach. How does TEKRISE help me?
It covers the days between lessons, when students practise unsupervised and can quietly undo your work. They arrive having practised the right things, so you spend less time repeating corrections. A coach dashboard shows what each student worked on, and students can share individual swings with you for feedback.
Is TEKRISE free?
Yes. The free plan gives you full AI swing analyses, permanently, funded by a short ad while your swing is analysed. No credit card and no account required. Paid plans raise the limit and remove ads — see the pricing page.
How accurate is the AI?
Accurate enough to spot technique patterns and track change over time; not accurate enough to be treated as a laboratory measurement. It tracks your body pose frame by frame on your device, and on Android it also locates the racquet around contact. It is an estimate from a single phone camera, not a motion-capture lab — a guide, not gospel.
Does my video get uploaded?
Pose tracking — and, on Android, racquet detection — runs entirely on your device. Only a short silent clip — at most 3 seconds, the swing you chose — is sent for the written coaching feedback. Your full original recording stays on your phone.
What shots can TEKRISE analyse?
Forehand, backhand, serve, volley, smash and slice. Several checks adapt to the shot you selected, so a weak shoulder turn is described differently on a forehand, a one-handed backhand and an overhead.
How should I film my swing?
Prop your phone up or ask a friend. Side-on gives the most usable data on groundstrokes; face-on is best for stance. Get your whole body including your feet in frame, and 15–60 seconds of footage is plenty. Filming from the same position each session is what makes progress comparisons meaningful.
What phones does TEKRISE work on?
iPhone (iOS 15 or later) and Android. Pose tracking runs on the device using the platform's own vision framework, so no special hardware is needed.
What languages does TEKRISE support?
The app is available in 13 languages, and the AI coaching feedback is returned in whatever language the app is set to.
Do I need an account?
No. You can start analysing swings without creating an account or entering a card. An account only matters if you want your history to follow you to a new device, or to use the coach features.
How do I delete my data?
See deleting your account, which covers what is removed and what is kept.
